The Aerial Work Platform Training program is designed to teach operators how to safely use scissor and boom lifts. Operation of elevating work platforms in accordance with the legal requirements is a main focus.
The program is divided into two parts. Part One focuses on theory, with program content including the following:
This portion of the program concludes with a review of the information presented through individual completion of multiple-choice questionnaires. Participants must meet the mandatory 80% class performance standard.
Part Two is concerned with hands-on operator testing and evaluation, and is usually conducted in the days following the completion of Part One. In this portion of the operator training program, our instructor visits your facility to offer hands-on training and to evaluate trainees on a one-to-one basis for safety practices and operator competency. Certificates are issued to those who meet the standards of theory and hands-on sessions.
The standard Aerial Work Platform Training program can be completed in 1 day.
The standard program is designed for a maximum of 10 participants.
