Safety on the Move® - Train The Trainer is a program designed for the leaders of in-house operator safety training. The program is a blend of theory and practical instruction.

Our experience has shown that operator safety training is most effective when the training is consistent with your workplace’s policies and procedures. Therefore, we conduct an on-site inspection prior to your Train The Trainer session, enabling us to tailor the program specifically to your operation, equipment and needs.

The Safety on the Move® - Train The trainer program is CSCSC certified.

Content Overview

The standard program will enable the trainer to test and evaluate operators on up to 2 different models of equipment (additional models may be accommodated). Participants will learn how to coordinate workplace safety policies and procedures.

Length of Program

The standard Train The Trainer program requires 3 days to complete. Length may be extended to allow for additional participants, models of equipment or limited operation experiences.

Materials Included

• Comprehensive Trainer’s Manual containing training strategies and step-by-step instructions
• Presentation materials (overhead or CD-ROM format available)
• Safety First training video
• Model specific video (on up to 2 different models)
• 10 student packages (Trainee’s Manual, Operator Safety & Instruction Booklet, Training Certificate, Wallet Card)

Additional Program Requirements

• The standard program is designed for a maximum of 3 participants, though larger groups can be accommodated.

Location Options

This program requires a meeting or training room setting for the theory portion of the program, as well as a warehouse environment for the practical, hands-on training. Johnston offers easy and convenient training location options to suit your preferences:

• At any of the Johnston facilities
• On site, at your facility

Should you choose to conduct the training at your facility, but are unable to provide the required audio-visual equipment, we will provide the necessary equipment at no extra charge.

Mixed Class Sessions

Is your group small? We can also accommodate you in mixed class sessions, where your employees will train with employees from other organizations. Ask your Johnston representative for more information.
