Johnston Equipment rebuilds used lift trucks through our Raymond Rebuilts division. We combine the quality of Raymond trucks with our Johnston guarantee. If you have been looking for a used lift truck to add to your fleet, your search has ended.
We Start with the Best
We use only quality Raymond trucks to begin the rebuilding process. Our in-house leasing company provides us with many choices for new and current equipment to rebuild. These trucks have been carefully maintained and serviced. The trucks in these fleets represent superb value as pre-owned vehicles - which means quality and value for you.
We provide three grades of rebuilt trucks. The grades relate to the wear factor that has been removed from the trucks, and expected hours of usage. The three grades are:
Class One Trucks
- recent models fully remanufactured to 80% of the original equipment specifications
- a six month warranty
- equipped with a conditioned battery and charger
Class One Trucks can be upgraded to the Premium Class, which is the same as described above plus a new battery and one year warranty.
Class Two Trucks
- models that have been thoroughly rebuilt with all components inspected, and repaired or replaced with original factory parts
- a four month warranty
- equipped with a reconditioned battery
Certified Value trucks
- we inspect every component reparing and reconditioning as required
- a 90 day warranty on all major components
- we will replace, without cost, any such parts that should fail
- these trucks meet all safety and factory standards
 When rebuilding or remanufacturing trucks, we replace parts with only original factory parts that carry the manufacturer's warranty. We bring all of the truck to current safety standards by Raymond and the Ministry of Labour for the different truck models, including any safety improvements that Raymond makes to the truck.
We can reconfigure trucks to your requirements, upon Raymond Engineering approval. Optional accessories or attachments can also be incorporated.
The standards that we apply in each grade exceed the ones followed in the automotive industries.
