Train The Trainer

Our experience has shown that operator safety training is most effective when the information presented is consistent with the policies and procedures practiced in the workplace. As every organization manages their materials handling operation in a unique way, we conduct an on-site inspection prior to your Train the Trainer session. This enables us to tailor the program specifically to your operation, equipment and needs. Further, the Train the Trainer program offers important guidelines concerning how to coordinate workplace safety policies and procedures with safety practices supported by the SAFETY ON THE MOVE program.

The program cost includes one Train the Trainers’ kit. This kit is required for your trainer to effectively train operators and includes:

• Comprehensive Trainer’s Manual containing training strategies and step-by-step instructions
• Presentation Materials (Overhead or CD-ROM format available)
• Safety First Training Video
• Model Specific Video (on up to 2 different models)
• 10 Student Packages (Trainee’s Manual, Operator Safety & Instruction Booklet, Training Certificate, Wallet Card)

To assist you in selecting the individuals to participate in the Train the Trainer program, we recommend they have the following:

• A commitment to safety
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in the lift truck operation
• Creativity
• Interest in safety training

The SAFETY ON THE MOVE Train the Trainer program may be conducted in your facility or in one of our training locations. To facilitate discussion and the display and viewing of presentation materials and ensure the comfort of participants, a meeting or training room setting is required for the program. Also required is a warehouse environment where participants will complete the practical hands-on portion of the program. Should you choose to conduct the training at your facility, but are unable to provide the required audio-visual equipment, we will provide the necessary equipment at no extra charge.
